Fort Meade, MD

(Visited 27 September 2016) First established in 1917 as Camp AdmiralFort Meade’s history has spanned both World Wars and today is home to several agencies including the U.S. Cyber Command and the National Security Agency (NSA). The Post Chapel, of particular interest, was built in 1934. Fort Meade also has a small museum highlighting some of the history of the post and Soldiers and equipment that have played a role in its history.
